WorkGiant.com Provides Secure Website for Job Seekers to Post Resumes and for Employers to Connect

Fort Myers, Fla. (PRWEB) August 30, 2007 -- With the monstrous hack of 1.6 million job seeker accounts, WorkGiant issues a formal statement announcing the security and integrity of the WorkGiant.com interface.

On WorkGiant.com, employers are only able to view the body of a resume when searching WorkGiant's proprietary database. Contact information, including job seeker name, address, phone number and email, is never disclosed to potential employers unless released by the job seeker, eliminating any spam or fraudulent job opportunities.

With WorkGiant there are two ways job seekers contact information may be released:

1. An employer initiates interest in a job seeker by sending a valid job offer, listed on WorkGiant, to the job seeker's WorkGiant account. Upon receipt of a valid job description, the job seeker can then choose whether or not to disclose their personal contact information to the potential employer.

2. A job seeker initiates interest in an employer by responding to an open job position through the WorkGiant database of jobs. Because the job seeker initiates the action, his or her contact info will be released by WorkGiant automatically.

By empowering job seekers with the ability to control the disclosure of their personal contact information, privacy is insured, said Kevin Romney, WorkGiant.com chief executive officer.

To confidentially post a resume on WorkGiant.com or for further information, visit www.WorkGiant.com.
